Why pre-infusion preparation matters

Fog vs. vapor: know the difference
Not all systems marketed as “vapor infusion” use true molecular vapor. Many are repurposed humidity boxes, dehydrators, or aroma foggers. Fog produces visible plumes and large droplets that coat the surface; vapor in a proper vacuum system is ultrafine and designed to move through the flower structure.
The telltale sign: a thick white plume during operation usually means fog—not deep vapor-phase infusion. Visible fog tends to mean surface coating; controlled molecular vapor supports deeper, more uniform integration.
